"The HoHoKus Hackensack School of Business and Medical Sciences offers two convenient class schedules. Day division classes meet Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The school year is divided into four 12-week phases. The evening division is designed for students with full-time jobs or other commitments that prohibit them from attending during the day. Classes meet on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 p.m. until 10:00 p.m, (an occasional Saturday may be required). The school year is divided into six phases, each lasting approximately eight weeks. Successful completion of the prescribed curriculum and a CGPA of 2.0 are necessary to graduate, except for Licensed Practical Nursing Science students who are required to achieve a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
The HoHoKus Hackensack School shows recognition to our students quarterly for their academic achievements by holding an Awards Assembly. All students who maintain a GPA (grade point average) of 3.2 for that quarter are awarded an Honors Award certificate and those who maintain a 4.0 GPA for that quarter receive a President's Award certificate.
Students have the ability to transfer a portion of credits to over 1,500 two- and four-year colleges with the recommendation of the American Council on Education's College Credit Recommendation Service (ACE/CCRS) who determined that courses are equivalent to or similar to those taught at the college level. Please remember that transfer of credits from The HoHoKus Hackensack School of Business and Medical Sciences to another college is entirely up to the receiving college.
