OFFICE HOURS

The school office is located on the first floor of the school building.

Day Office Hours:

• 8:00am to 5:00pm — Monday through Thursday
• 8:00am to 4:00pm — Friday

Evening Office Hours:

• 5:00pm to 8:00pm — Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday

VISITOR POLICY

Parents and other interested persons are welcome at all times to confer with school authorities, to inspect the facilities, or to discuss the future career and training of an enrolled student. Visitors are requested to call the school office to schedule an appointment.

To insure the safety of our students, all guests and visitors are required to register at the school office.

Children are not permitted in the classrooms.

ACTIVITIES

Relaxation with classmates and friends outside the school is an important part of student life at The HoHoKus Hackensack School. Among the most popular activities include: Blood Drives, Awards Assemblies, and community sponsored events.

HEALTH/MEDICAL CARE

Students must take proper care of their health so that they can do their best in school. Students who become seriously ill or contract a communicable disease should stay home and recover, but remember to notify the school immediately. All medical and dental appointments should be made after school hours. The school will not be responsible for rendering any medical assistance but will refer students upon request to the proper medical facility.

ACCIDENTAL INJURY

If a student sustains an injury while engaged in an authorized school activity, first aid will be rendered and the services of a physician or hospital will be made available, if required.

Medical indemnification is limited to a maximum of $ 500 during the student's period of enrollment. This information is not intended to be an extension of coverage, nor a limitation of protection.

The HoHoKus Hackensack School of Business and Medical Sciences does not accept responsibility, financially or otherwise, for any injuries sustained by students, other than as stipulated above.

INSURANCE

The HoHoKus Hackensack School of Business and Medical Sciences does not carry insurance on students' personal belongings, including vehicles, and is not responsible for loss or damage from any cause. Students should arrange for adequate coverage on personal and automotive policies.
